The ‘Holz im Zyklus’ field trip marks the start of the design term each semester at the BMLUK Endowed Chair for Timber Construction and Design. This time, we spent three days in Carinthia, visiting, among other places, Haus Kolig, the Waldarena Velden by Hohengasser Wirnsberger Architects, sites such as Säge Hirt and KLH Massivholz GmbH, and, of course, the forests.
